Guardianship Tips
Post on February 23rd, 2018

Rules 66.06 and 66.07 of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio describe the mandatory adult guardianship education requirements for persons serving as guardians pursuant to Chapter 2111 of the Ohio Revised Code. Courses can be found on the Ohio Adult Guardianship Education Program website.

If you are serving as a guardian and you are not familiar with the nuances of Medicare and Medicaid, it is a good idea to review requirements for these programs with someone who deals with this area on a regular basis. Attorneys who are Certified Specialists in Elder Law may be one resource to consult.
