The Ohio Judges Supplemental Insurance policy covers defense costs incurred by Ohio Judges and Justices for judicial discipline claims in excess of the coverage afforded by the Ohio Judges’ Professional Liability Self Insurance Program administered by the State of Ohio.

This policy is offered and renewed each year on July 1st. Applicants are encouraged to apply, or renew, in May of each year in order to be included as insureds under this policy.

The Magistrate policy covers claims made against the insured magistrate arising out of professional services rendered as a magistrate, and includes coverage for disciplinary complaints brought against the magistrate.
