TOD Affidavits For Real Estate

Ohio law changed effective December 28, 2009 regarding the transfer of real estate upon death. The procedure to be used now involves the preparation of an affidavit by the owner conveying the interest upon death, rather than a TOD deed. Existing TOD deeds recorded prior to that date are still effective.
